Highways
Niagara Falls is located in the heart of an extensive road, and water network. Ontario’s 400 series highways run through Niagara Falls and connect directly with the U.S. Interstate system.
VIA Rail,GO Transit
The Via Rail train station downtown offers regular train travel to Niagara Falls. During the summer tourism season, GTA travellers can visit Niagara using either GO Transit’s Niagara Tourism Train or Via Rail’s Bike Train. Both services can accommodate bicycles, allowing riders to enjoy the many cycling routes available throughout the Niagara region.
Air Travel
U.S. and International travellers visiting Niagara by air can fly into any of three international airports located within a one-hour’s drive from Niagara! (John C. Munro International, Hamilton, ON; Pearson International, Toronto, ON; and Buffalo Niagara International, Buffalo, NY. Private charter flights are also available from the Niagara District Airport which is minutes from downtown and capable of handling passengers and products.
Shipping Canals
The St. Lawrence Seaway’s Welland Canal also offers a global port for bulk shipping and large scale manufacturing needs.
Motorcoach Tours & Commuter Travel
Motorcoach Tours are always welcome in Niagara Falls! The downtown bus terminal also serves private motorcoach carriers on a daily basis. The Province of Ontario also offers daily GO Transit bus service between Toronto (GTA) and Niagara Falls.
