Investigations
Fire investigations in Niagara Falls are primarily conducted by the Fire Prevention Officers. For certain situations, local police agencies may be involved in investigations, as well as staff from the Office of the Fire Marshal. Information that is obtained through these investigations assists us in determining specific trends relating to fires within the city, and allow our staff to focus their prevention activities to reduce the risk of these occurrences.
