Resident Convenience Parking Pass

Transportation Services Division of the City of Niagara Falls, responding to City Council’s request to make on-street pay-parking more user friendly, are pleased to announce the launch of a new Resident Convenience Parking Pass.

For a 6 month period from July 1 to December 31, 2009, $26 plus taxes will entitle Niagara Falls residents who display their Resident Convenience Pass on the rearview mirror of their vehicle, to park at any on-street metered parking space for up to 2 full hours. Pro-rated passes can be purchased at any time during this six month period.

The Resident Convenience Parking Pass was initiated by Councillor Jim Diodati who felt that residents would appreciate forgoing a scramble for change for the meter or automated parking attendant machines. “The Resident Convenience Pass will make it easier for those who frequent areas of the City where they have to contend with on-street pay-parking,” stated Councillor Diodati.
