Queen Street - Downtown Niagara Falls
Parade Route: The Niagara Falls Canada Day Parade route will begin on Victoria Avenue at Armoury Street and will travel north on Victoria Avenue to Valley Way, east (right) onto Valley Way, east (right) onto Queen Street, ending at Ontario Avenue.
The Niagara Falls Canada Day Celebration will continue in Centennial Square, in front of City Hall, along Queen Street and in the new parkette, beside City Hall.

- Send your completed form to Lori Albanese at the City of Niagara Falls or drop off at the MacBain Community Centre
Criteria
- Nominee should be a resident of Niagara Falls and have not received a Good Citizen Award in the past.
- Awards will be given to individuals who have performed outstanding service for the betterment of the community.
- Certificates will be awarded on Canada Day.

What's happening this year?
5 KM Run or Walk for St. John Ambulance
5km Run or Walk for St. John Ambulance on Monday, July 1, 2013 at Oakes Park in Niagara Falls to celebrate the Niagara Falls Branch 75th Anniversary. Registration will take place at 7:00 a.m. at Oakes Park.
Route: The run/walk begins at 8:00 a.m. Participants will travel east along Morrison Street and enter the Paisley Janvary-Pool Pathway and travel north to Thorold Stone Road, turning east on the sidewalk, travel south on the sidewalk along Stanley Avenue and end back at Oakes Park.
Entry fee is $25. Door Prizes, Fresh Fruit and Medals for Age Category Winners. Age Category Winners will be awarded their medals on the Canada Day Main Stage at Niagara Falls City Hall at 1 p.m.. Download the 5KM Run or Walk Entry Form and Map.
All funds generated through the 5 km run walk will support the essential services that St John Ambulance provides within our Niagara Falls community including: Medical First Responders, and Youth, Therapy Dogs, Search & Rescue, Chair-A-Van transportation services and Water Patrol Programs. Your support will "Help Us, Help Others".

CANADA DAY PARADE at 11:00 a.m.
The 2013 Niagara Falls Canada Day Celebration will kick off with a Parade at 11:00 a.m. The Pre-Parade begins at 10:45 a.m. The Parade and Pre-Parade will begin on Victoria Avenue at Armoury Street and travel north on Victoria Avenue, turn right (east) onto Valley Way and turn right (east) onto Queen Street and end at Ontario Avenue.
OPENING CEREMONIES at 1:00 p.m.
The Niagara Falls Canada Day Celebration Opening Ceremonies will begin on the Main Stage at Centennial Square in front of City Hall on Queen Street. Join us for the singing of the Canadian National Anthem and the Good Canadian Citizen Awards presented by Niagara Falls Mayor Jim Diodati. Entertainment will follow on the Main Stage.
DAYTIME HIGHLIGHTS
Following the Opening Ceremonies, live entertainment will be featured on the Main Stage and there will be free children’s activities nearby. Queen Street will be closed for the celebration which will include community groups, displays, food vendors and interactive activities.
