Recreation and Community Facilities
My City Guide
The My City Guide is published twice a year, in the spring and in the fall. This publication provides you with everything you need to know about services, programs and organizations in Niagara Falls in one place! We invite you to have a good look at the guide, as it is a valuable resource for you to refer back to.
Booking an Arena, Facility or Park
We have many facilities that are available for the public to rent or use. To find out the availability of an ice rink or park, visit the Facility Availability website. When you're ready to book your ice, visit the Ice Bookings page for rates and forms.
The MacBain Centre also has meeting rooms available.
On the Schedule of Fees page, you can find out the rates for the various parks and when you're ready to book a park, fill out the City Parks Application and review the Conditions of Agreement for the use of facilities.
Parks and Trails
If you're looking to take advantage of the vast parks and trails system we have in Niagara Falls, head over to the Parks Listing or the Trails Database. Each page will show you details of your desired place and pictures to go with it.
Recreation in Niagara Falls has traditionally been based on a community development model with citizen involvement in the delivery of recreational programs and services. The Committee welcomes your input at any time. You are encouraged to provide comments and suggestions that will assist us in helping to ensure that Niagara Falls continues to be recognized as a great place to live, work and play. Visit the Recreation Committee for more information.
