Artists Rendering of the Downtown Park

The City of Niagara Falls is pleased to provide information on the planned Downtown Park Development. As part of the Downtown Revitalization Project, the Downtown Park will provide a welcoming public gathering place with various recreational and cultural amenities. The Downtown Park will connect with the Olympic Torch Run Recreational Trail and will be developed in Phases.

Phase 1 of the park is proposed to include a focal plaza water feature; children's play area; shade trees and landscape areas; art features; and improved accessibility.

The City has been working together with the Downtown Business Improvement Association (BIA) over the past year to identify and implement improvements to the Downtown in an effort to revitalize the Downtown district. The Downtown Park is planned to replace an existing City parking lot east of City Hall, adjacent to Erie Avenue.
