It’s a 3 Day Entertainment Extravaganza from June 30 to July 2, 2017

 Friday, June 30, 2017 from 6 - 8:30 pm

NIOMA - Niagara Institute of Music & Art.  Niagara Students Rock Concert on the Main Stage at City Hall, 4310 Queen Street.  Live Entertainment & Food Vendors  - Sponsored by Cruising on the Q, NIOMA with support from NRPS & Wendy Leard School of Dance.

  • 5:00 pm - TBA
  • 6:00 pm - Stoneblind
  • 7:00 pm Leo Alegro's (Santana Tribute Band)
  • 8:00 pm - Riley Band with James White, Jonah Cappa and Sofia Acevedo.

  • @The Falls - FIREWORKS & Live Entertainment in Queen Victoria Park (QVP) – Following the day’s festivities!
  • 8:00 pm - Coca Cola Concert Series at the Illumination Tower Stage in QVP.
  • 10:00 pm - Fireworks in Queen Victoria Park.

Canada Day – Saturday, July 1, 2017

Hosted by the Niagara Falls Canada Day Planning Team

  • 8:00 am - 1K & 5K Run/Walk for St. John Ambulance at Oakes Park.  Registration 8 am; Run/Walk begins 9 am.
  • 9:00 am - CITIZENSHIP CEREMONY in the Niagara Falls Public Library.
  • 10:00 am - Niagara Falls Concert Band, outside the Niagara Falls Public Library.
  • 11:00 am - Canada Day Parade along Victoria to Queen, Ending at Crysler Ave.
  • 11:00 am - Open Choir Rehearsal at the Children’s Stage, Rosberg Family Park - Everyone welcome! Come Sing with Choir Nation for the Main Stage!
  • 12:30 pm - Opening Ceremonies on the City Hall Main Stage, 4310 Queen Street.
  • 12:15 pm - 283 Performing Arts Company (PAC).
  • 12:30 pm  Opening Ceremonies hosted by Pete Dychtiar & Rita Carrey.  Choir Nation (National Anthem, one Canadian song & Happy Birthday).
  • 12:50 pm -  Oh Canada Eh!.
  • 1:05 pm - Be Our Guest, Beauty & the Beast Musical Revue.
  • 1:25 pm - Camp Rock.
  • 1:45 pm - The Rita Carrey Band
  • 2:30 pm - No Sugar Tonight.
  • 4:00 pm - LiveStock Niagara & NIOMA present the following bands.
  • 4:00 pm - Finnigan (NIOMA).
  • 5:00 pm - J.I.N.
  • 6:00 pm - The Natrolites
  • 7:00 pm - Street Pharmacy
  • 8:30 pm - Entertainment concludes.

Road Closures

June 30: Queen Street will be closed from Ontario Street to Erie Avenue from June 30, 12:00 pm to July 2 at 7:00 pm.

July 1: Jepson Street and Amoury Street will be closed at 7:00 am for the formation of the Parade entries. Please ensure vehicles are not parked on the roadway.  Victoria Avenue will be closed from 10:00 am until approximately 1:00 pm for the Parade.  Queen Street between Ontario and Erie will be closed until 10:00 pm.  Queen Street between Victoria Avenue to Ontario Avenue will be closed from 7:00 am until approximately 7:00 pm.  Queen Street from Ontario Street to Erie Avenue, will remain closed until July 2 at 7:00 pm.

The City apologizes for any inconvenience that these street closures may create during this time frame. The City would greatly appreciate your assistance and patience in this matter by planning your day’s activities around the Canada Day Celebration if at all possible.
