TD Tree Days

The Park in the City Committee, along with TD Bank Staff will be planting over 180 various trees and shrubs at the Paddock Trail Park in efforts to replenish the tree canopy in the area. Funding for this event is from the TD Friends of the Environment. Interested volunteers are to register online at

During the month of October, Libraries in Ontario vote on the next Evergreen Award Winner - the best books for adults from the previous year. NFPL is holding a special book club event where participants can defend one of the Evergreen book nominees. Read at least one and defend your pick at our gathering. All are welcome even if you don't wish to defend a title. It's sure to be a lot of fun!
